Something So Strong: Tell us the origin story of your best friend. How did you become friends? What is it that keeps your friendship rockin’ after all these years?

I’ve always had the sense that I’m a lone wolf: I enjoy my alone time, am generally reserved, like to work by myself, and tackle any problem by my own strength and knowledge. There is, however, a group of buddies I always look up when I have the chance. I can’t pick out a “best friend” from the bunch, since they all mean different things to me. Too Much Info

Information comes to us in different ways: in the form of noise like the music we hear, the hustle and bustle of city streets, or the  chirping of birds in the morning; in the things we see such as the shape of clouds, the green of a forest or the blue of the sky; as a smell or taste, and even the soft touch of a summer breeze. A little informal introduction

who I am & why ‘m here

I’m Steve, and am a student currently studying in the US (born and raised in Hong Kong, though). Throughout the past year I have been going through some things personally and in the process have realized that I needed more happiness and positivity in my life. This led me to read books such as the Power of Now (by Eckhart Tolle), to meditation, to the general maintenance of my mental health. I have discovered that the little things add up; inspirational quotes, beautiful images, and eye-opening videos all contribute to our feelings of happiness.

 

Happiness is contagious, and I want to share what I can with you, so you can in turn affect those around you. Mental well-being was not a concern of mine, and I’d like to share with you the things I’ve learned and my continued journey into a more Positive Attitude (Positivatude!!) So basically anything that would hopefully put a grin on your face 🙂
